Every day, teens are faced with the decision of whether or not to take someone else’s prescription medication. Many perceive benefits in using these drugs, but little to no risk. This is the root of the problem. The goal of Truth208 is to arm teens and young adults across the state with the facts about prescription medicine abuse so that they can make well-informed decisions when presented with the opportunity to take them.

Truth208 conducts extensive statewide surveys and focus group research to more thoroughly understand Idaho Teens' attitudes and behaviors related to prescription medicine abuse. This research provides the foundation for our messaging programs.
